I have no idea that my gold mine has somehow become someone else's property."

I pulled out my phone and, right in front of her, sent a message to the contact labeled Fiancé. "Lucas, there's a mad dog in your house. Are you going to do something about it or not?"

I twist my ankle on the spot and use the opportunity to collapse right into Kyle's arms.

My father's company lost a senior executive out of nowhere, so he called me back from overseas to steady things. Who the hell was Violet supposed to be? I pulled out my phone and called my father. "Have you lost your mind, old man? You've got some secret daughter taking over the company now?"
