Wings Of Fire Base Novels & Stories

Then, I took out an A3 paper from the briefcase and spread it across the table. It was a curved flight path, overlapping on the city map. "This is the flight path of the Cessna with the registration number B-10YZ between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the same day. This aircraft…" I stared at him. "…is owned by Zach Airways." A flicker of tension crossed Zachary's face. Under the light, his face turned as pale as a sheet as he swallowed hard. Mike fixed his eyes on the two documents for a long time before he gradually raised his head. "Mr. Zachary, this weather report…"

They flare on either side of me and when I stand, the points arch to encompass a wide scope of the ground, causing the others to back away in shock. Because I have wings. Wings of fire.

He looked at me with eyes full of terror—the look of a man who knew he had failed. “The West Wing is a furnace, ma'am!” a firefighter shouted, his voice muffled by his mask. “The fire started in the crawlspace—it went up like tinder! We can’t get a team inside yet!” I looked up. The West Wing. The stone was blackened, and orange flames were licking out of the windows like greedy tongues. That was Finn’s wing. He was supposed to be napping. I left him sleeping. “Finn!” I screamed, the sound tearing my throat raw. I tried to run toward the heat, toward the screaming orange light, but a pair of strong arms caught me around the waist.

I watched until the heat forced me back, sweat dripping, lungs burning. Only then did I turn away. By the time we staggered out past the fence, the training grounds were gone. Just fire. Just ash. Just ghosts screaming under collapsing roofs. Thomas stumbled beside me, leaning heavy, blood soaking his shirt. “You think that’s it?” he rasped. I shook my head, eyes locked on the blaze. “No. Base Two doesn’t die easy. But this?” I pointed at the fire. “This is a wound they can’t stitch shut.”

He rotated his body and put his legs on the ground and stood like normal once again. “What are you doing with your wings?” Shadow pointed out his fatal flaw. Yes. he had wings now. How could he forget to use it? Yeah, whenever he was with Shadow, he couldn’t think straight because of the trauma received from this small human. ROARRRRRRRRR!!! He shrieked, flapping his fire wings. A strong hot gust rushed to Shadow’s side. The heat that could burn their clothes and skin. “Hot…” Shadow fanned her face with her hand.

When she opened her eyes, she heard flapping sounds and looked back to see her wings sprouted out in the most beautiful colour of purple-blue and were bigger than most fairy wings. "Wow." She heard her cousin say but concentrated on the force coming towards her, not having time to admire her newly spurted wings. It felt like they were deliberately coming at a slow but powerful pace. Almost like testing them and giving them time to prepare. Max and Wanda stepped few feet away from the alphas as they felt the force approach the wolves first. A big ball of fire with both red and blue flames approached, hitting the five of them with force. When the flames subsided, all stood in shock as they saw

The scale of him forced the eye to adjust, to recalibrate what counted as a threat, what counted as a weapon. His wings unfurled behind him. Not in a single, theatrical sweep, but in a measured expansion that claimed the space as its own, the membranes stretching outward in layered arcs, catching the rising heat and bending it to his will. The edges burned in deep, smouldering crimson, not bright but dense, like coals banked beneath ancient ash, pulsing in time with the fire beneath his skin. Drifting ash caught along their span, then burned away in curling wisps, leaving no mark. These were not the wings of any bird. They were banners torn from an infernal altar and set ablaze. That fire wa

Niquel smirked. Before the shards were fired at him, wings sprouted from his back and his body shifted into that of a beast’s. The shards bounced off his scaly hard body and ignoring the destruction of the cottage from the span of his wings alone, Niquel took off. With a flap of his widespread wings that sent a blast of air around him, he raised his body off the ground and indiscriminately breathed fire on the grounds, letting out his fury and frustrations on the hidden enemies below.

His wings spread wide, feathers shimmering like liquid gold, ready to defend the innocent and uphold the balance of the realms. Flame curled around Wrath's frame, a living, breathing entity that danced and flickered with his every movement. The inferno cast eerie shadows, highlighting the sharp angles of his face and the fierce determination in his molten eyes. His power was raw, untamed, a force of nature that refused to be contained or controlled.

If Damon’s fire used to be only as far as his hand, now he can release fire in different parts of his body. “Whoa, that’s cool!” Damon said in amazement. The fire made him a wing, so he lifted off the ground and flew. The three couldn’t take their eyes off him as they watched him fly. It distracted them to hear the very tense sound of the creature. Damon quickly flew closer to the creature, and he made a fire whip that bound the creature so that it could no longer escape. Damon went down to the ground and stood beside Cael and Kyra. The creature continues to disappear.
