Prologue : The Start

Princess Luna, the chosen moon goddess once lived on the magic realm, where the moon castle stood tall in the land of Arthdal, but she soon died sacrificing herself for her people and for the future, sealing and hiding the land especially the castle from the eyes.

The land or era of all possible mystical and magical creatures, the werewolves were the protectors and peacemakers of all, led by the four mightiest Alphas to ever exist.

The continent, is a magical realm where all the supernatural beings existed in between the human world and the demon realm.

The heavenly beings and the heavenly realm was inaccessible by other beings and stayed protected with gods, goddesses and angels residing in it.

In the ever increasing population of the werewolf species, four certain packs who were the strongest to ever exist, could make their way and establish their pack on the sacred grounds where the moon goddess and the sun god once resided and stepped foot on.

The land of Arthdal was the largest part of The Continent, situated in the deepest and farthest corner secluded and shielded from the rest of the continent. Arthdal was the birthplace of the chosen moon goddess, as well as the place where she died.

The four packs were the only ones who reached the land of Arthdal after the moon goddess disappeared from earth, automatically being declared as the strongest packs to have ever existed.

The southern part of Arthdal belonged to the "Snow Moon" pack.

The Northern part of the Arthdal belonged to the "Blue Moon" pack while the Eastern part of the land belonged to the "Silver Bow" pack and the western part of the land belonged to the "Spirit Walker" pack.

The four packs gradually expanded their packs to become the largest and strongest packs who aided the weaker and smaller packs around them all the while maintaining an alliance with one another to protect the continent and maintain peace with the other creatures inhabiting The Continent.

"Pete, why were we the only ones who could see Arthdal?" Kyana asked as she leaned her head on her mate's chest.

"I don't know my love. Only the moon goddess can answer the question afterall she was the one who hid this place from the world for centuries." Pete replied as he caressed his mates hair gently."

"Okay cut it out guys." Lee said as he eyed the two and pulled his own mate closer.

"Like I care Lee." Pete answered sassily earning a smack from his mate.

"Bad mannered Alpha." Kyana frowned as she put pouted and then giggled mischievously.

"I'm sorry my lovely Luna. Please forgive me." Pete said holding both of his ears in fake pretend.

"Forgiven!" Kyana exclaimed smiling at her Alpha fondly who engulfed her in a warm hug making her feel warm and secured.

"I compliment you Kyana for making this Alpha here appear more humane. I still remember how brute his nature was back in our youth days."

" King said as he watched the two In front of him.

"Well thank you, King. I am just awesome!" Kyana replied giggling while Pete frowned hearing Lee admonish him as being a brute.

She clearly rememberd the time that she had met her mate. The man, big and buffed, came crashing towards her direction as a buldozer, apparently on his way to one of his numerous gang fights.

She looked up at her mate and snorted. "How sweet you were then and how much you bathe me in sugar now."

Pete smiled at her in adoration, all the love spilling through his eyes but before he could say anything, he was interrupted.

"What are you thinking Amy? And you two as well?" Kyana asked, looking at Amy and then towards Kat and Bianca finding that they too had dazed expressions on their beautiful faces.

"Yes you three seem in deep thought." Pete said knitting his brows.

"Huh?" Amy replied looking confused, snapping into reality.

"Did you say something?" Bianca asked looking at the others. As if snapped abruptly into reality.

All the four packs had gathered in the pack house of the Blue Moon pack in the north, to discuss about the upcoming Moon festival which would be taking place in the coming four days and continue for the next two days straight.

"We were just asking what's got you three all occupied? You seem to be in deep thought." King asked the three omegas.

The three looked at each other and nodded as though they all knew what the others have been thinking while their Alphas eyed their not so strange behaviour closely.

"We were just thinking about what Kyana had asked Pete," Kat said.

When no one replied Amy spoke, "We are curious as well since no one in centuries could ever spot the moon goddess's Kingdom but we did. Why?" She said crossing her arms and this really did make the rest contemplate on these words as well.

Before anyone else could say anything, Bianca spoke up as well. "What Amy said is one thing and the other thing is that though we could find this land, we couldn't see the moon castle. Even the moon temple showed up four years after we settled our packs in Arthdal," she said.

The others frowned hearing this because this was indeed what had happened. At that time however nobody raised any concerns as they were happy and filled with the thoughts of it being a blessing by the moon goddess.

Hearing this the Alphas too thought deeply but couldn't find any answers. "Why don't we ask the elders?" Frank suggested and the other alphas nodded while their Lunas just shook their head.

"They don't know anything. We've asked them but they too have no idea about it," Kat replied.

"Let's wait for the moon festival then." Pete said making all of them look at him.

"Why?" Kyana asked her Alpha.

"Because this years Moon festival is one of the most special." Pete replied kissing Kyana's temple.

"Huh?"

"The phenomenon that happens once in every one hundred and fifty years. The moon will be blue instead of the usual white. The stars will align together and the time along with the date and day will be the same as-" Pete was cut of by Amy who completed his sentence, "-The day the moon goddess was born on earth." Pete smiled at her and nodded.

"So that means we would be able to see her?" Kyana asked with eyes shining in excitement.

Pete chuckled at his mate's cuteness and pinched her cheeks. "Seeing the moon goddess isn't easy love. Only the purest of souls and the descendants of the moon goddess's family can see her." He said caressing Kyana's hair tenderly while the latter pouted cutely.

"Wait. If we don't have the possibility of seeing her then why did you tell us to wait for the moon festival?" Amy asked knitting her brows and glaring at him.

Pete chuckled seeing his friend eye him suspiciously. "Since I believe that there might be pure souls among us. Like this one here." He said kissing Kyana's cheek softly.

Lee couldn't take them being so disgustingly cuddly and snapped at them. "Get a damn room dude!"

"Yeah right!" Kat exclaimed sassily as she rolled her eyes, equally disgusted by the overly clingy behaviour.

"Hey! He said the truth ok." Kyana replied with a pout.

"As you say, Luna Kyana." Kat said mockingly letting her misunderstand their reactions as a reply to something else.

"You! Come here! Let me teach you a lesson." Kyana said as she freed herself from Pete's embrace and chased after Kat around the room and into the lawn.

"Hey! Stop having fun on your own. Let me join as well." Amy said, getting up from her seat and joining the chase with her best friends.

"Wait for me too, Amy." Bianca said, following behind.

Their Alphas just looked at their Lunas in amusement and laughed out loud seeing them run around the room and tge .awn avoiding to get caught by one another.

Laughter filled the room, creating an ambience of pure happiness and warmth. Their mates behaving so childishly and adorably is what they all crabed for. They all craved and only wished for their lovely mates to bask In pure happiness and joy never letting them be restrained with the culture and strict stick up traditions.

However, none of them had any idea of what was about to come their way. They couldn't imagine what their roles would be in the hands of destiny and fate in the nearing future.

A voice floated in the depths of the night sounding oh so serene and otherworldly.

"My goddess, it's time isn't it?" Seren asked Luna.

Luna just smiled softly and let the moon rise slowly and watched it slowly merge with the sun, enveloping it into a red hue.
