In the hospital
It's been two hours since Queenie got to the hospital, everyone was waiting but there was no news from the doctor and this bothered Pierce so much, he decided to go meet the doctor himself but Jessica suggested he stayed back.
"How long does it take for a woman to give birth?" This he asked subconsciously, placing his hand on his jaw in wonderment.
"It could take a few hours depending on the person and condition." Jessica, who was worried as well, replied.
Peirce wore a worried look.
"It's normal to be worried. But if you keep acting like this we'd both be crazy and on edge. So, please, Pierce Verlice, calm down." She said word for word.
She paused for a while then continued, "Child birth can take the whole day or even two days, you never can tell."
"A whole day, really?" Pierce narrowed his eyes at Jessica's direction.
The almighty Pierce Verlice was acting like a child and the thought of that made her let out a laugh.
