Queenie sat in the balcony ready nursery rhymes while her free hand caressed her bulging stomach.
She stopped hearing loud footsteps behind her and smiled when she saw Pierce. Her smile faded when she saw the man wasn't smiling.
When he saw her, he forced out a smile and stopped inches away.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
The man nodded and opened his mouth to say something when his eyes met with the pill on the table.
His eyes widened in shock as he grabbed it with both hands. "Where did you get this?"
"A maid delivered it to me. Said you asked her to get it for me." Queenie replied with a smile.
"A maid? Do you recall what she looks like?" Pierce asked, anxious to grasp whoever it is that delivered the pill.
"I don't. You have tons of maids and I can't make it my job to memorize what they look like. Why are you in a panic?" She asked at once.
"This medicine isn't a nice one and it's all of us in jeopardy." The man finally said calmly.
