Victoria was still staring outside, where the man had gone. From the clothing store she was at, the shoe store not far away, Alden went to meet a woman. Of course, that woman was Emberly.
'What an asshole,' she cursed.
"Victoria," called Karina, who diverted her attention.
Victoria turned to Karina and quickly changed her expression. She smiled with eyes full of admiration. "I knew that dress would suit you perfectly."
"What do you think? Do you like it?" she asked.
Instead of answering, Karina glanced outside before returning to her and changing the subject, "Are you still thinking about that guy?"
Victoria frowned and, a second later, understood what her sister-in-law meant. She replied, "No. Of course not."
