Knox’s POV
I hadn’t slept since the night Aria asked for two more days.
Two days.
She had asked and pleaded with that soft voice. She said she needed to do something important. She had asked me to trust her. I hated it. I hated that she chose to stay with those bloodsuckers, hated that I couldn’t see her, hated that I hadn't seen her in several days, and all I could do was watch and wait.
We had tracked the vampire's den with the help of Hazel's map, but we had done everything stealthy. We didn't charge in, we just waited.
Shawn and a few trusted wolves remained with me, hidden in the forest. We watched their den in complete silence. We made sure our scents were masked, and we moved in silence. No fires, no light, nothing that could alert the vampires.
