Aria's POV
It was a beautiful female werewolf that reminded me so much of Veronica. She was tall, and she had long pale blonde hair and familiar blue eyes that stared at me with a sneer.
“Yes? What is it?” She sneered, closing the door behind her.
Several thoughts raced through my mind. Who was this lady? And what was she doing in Knox's office?
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. It was Shawn that replied.
“She's here to see Knox, Astrid.”
She lifted an eyebrow as she glanced between the two of us.
“What does an omega want with the Alpha King?” She said with a slight smirk on her face, her blue eyes sparkled with mischief. I knew that she knew who I was. She was mocking me.
Again, it was Shawn that replied tensely. “She's his mate, Astrid. The Luna Queen.” He said with a warning look in his eyes.
Astrid looked me up and down. “Oh, really?”
I pushed down the irritation that crept up at the tone of her voice.
“And you are?” I asked, keeping my voice calm even with the anger I felt.
