I had just finished speaking with Hunter on the phone, and was returning to where Aria was waiting for me.
“I expected better from the Alpha King. If he wanted to keep his fated mate, that's fine, but to keep her as the fucking Luna Queen, that's not logical.” Connor, a pack member, said, and I realized that he was talking to Aria.
‘Mate!’ My wolf, Fenrir, growled in my head with rage in his voice. He immediately tried to take control.
