Damien’s POV
I grabbed the bastard by the collar and slammed him against the concrete wall of the holding room. The chair clattered to the side, and the air between us vibrated with fury.
“What the hell did you do to her?” I growled, nose inches from his. “Tell me exactly what you did to Celeste.”
Dr. Halbridge’s breath hitched. He raised both palms, shaking. “P-please—Mr. Vaughn—I didn’t mean harm—”
“Just tell me what you did to her there!”
He stammered, his words crashing over each other. “I-I was just following orders. We had documents. Authorizations. From you!”
