"Never mind," Antonio said, lifting his body off hers. He opened the car door for her, and she entered. He made sure she settled in properly before going round to the driver's side.
He slid into the driver’s seat and glanced over, sighing when he saw her still fiddling with her bag instead of wearing her seatbelt.
"Sit well," he said as he did her seatbelt for her before doing his. A soft smile tugged at her lips at the unexpectedly tender gesture. He turned on the ignition, and they left her street.
