I stared at Vigo in shock.
This was all Jasper’s fault. How didn’t I see it at first?
Vigo liked me and Jovie and had no reason to turn on us. But Jasper gave him one. Jasper only wanted one thing and next week he’d be getting it. I had to save Jovie.
“Vigo, I need you to come to New York with me.” I stated.
“Afraid I can’t do that, Reno,” He frowned. “That Sterlington fellow will be after me since I got away. I’m the only one who knows what went down. He’ll probably have me killed or something.”
