“Honey, is there anything we haven’t finalized yet?” Helen asked.
Zac sat on the edge of the bed, flipping through their wedding checklist. “Let’s see… wedding favors, cake and wine tasting, guest gifts, meeting with the officiant tomorrow, and of course, the venue rehearsal…”
“Ugh!” Helen groaned, throwing herself onto the bed. “There’s still so much left? My head hurts just thinking about it!”
Even though Wilfred had arranged for professionals to help, she still had to make all the final decisions.
Most of it wasn’t too bad, but there was no getting out of the venue rehearsal. No one could stand in for the bride.
“Why is wedding planning so exhausting?” She whined. “I still haven’t recovered from the pre-wedding photoshoot, and now I have to go through a full rehearsal? Do I have to wear heels all day again?”
Just the thought of high heels made her feet ache.
