I make King wait for me while I use the bathroom. That’s what I’ve decided to call the alpha’s wolf until I learn something different. He has the air of a benevolent king and the white spot on his one ear looks kind of like a crown. The name seemed fitting to me.
I could hear him pacing back and forth outside of the bathroom door, impatient for me to join him.
I quickly use the bathroom, brush my death and wash my face. No point in showering when I’m likely going to have to do that after our run anyway.
I step out of the bathroom and King nearly knocks me over as he pushes at the backs of my legs to try and hurry me out of the door.
“Alright, your majesty! I know that you want to go out, but can I get some shoes at least. Your human has to have a pair of flip flops that I can borrow,” I say laughing.
