Venus's POV
Last night was a dream. That's how good it was even though we got interrupted by Dorian and the threat letter again. Alonso doesn't seem fazed by it. Probably because we have received a ton of those until now and yet, no action proved it. Maybe the occasional rogue attacks but the rogues are constantly attacking on the pack's Alphas to prove a point that doesn't exist. So we cannot come to a conclusion based on that.
I sit on my bed, staring at the sunrise, still yawning. I used to sleep an extra hour before I got my wolf. But now I spend my mornings going on a wolf run with Alonso. And let me tell you, it's my favorite part of the entire day.
I get up from the bed and walk downstairs, running my fingers through my hair to make it seem less messy. The wind is colder than usual. And since the winter is approaching, it keeps getting colder and colder. And winter means one thing. It's Alonso's birthday around the corner.
