Venus's POV
I slapped the girl again and this time, blood trickled down her chin. Her knees are already bleeding and her hands are tied behind her. And yet, she hasn't said a word. Usually Rogues have no pain tolerance and no proper stamina as well, which is why they are often easier to kill.
"Let us make this easy for you, and me both," I whisper, grabbing a fistful of the brown hair she has and yanking her head back so she is facing me.
Her stare is unwavering as she looks at me. Even though her face is covered in both dried up and fresh blood, I can still make out the facial features. Looks like she wasn't born a Rogue. Recently turned one.
Maybe that is why she is tough to deal with. And if she is looking at me in the eye, then she might be of a good rank before she became a Rogue.
