Alonso's POV
"Why couldn't you hit back?" I ask Edna as I help her sit on the couch not caring that it might get all stained with Edna's half dried blood. I can get a new couch by the end of the day.
"Venus is a great fighter. She didn't give me a second to process and fight back," Edna smiles and I smile back thinking about her. She really exceeds any other Beta or Alpha for that matter, when it comes to war skills.
"It's as if she has a hidden agenda," Edna mutters again and I look at her, the smile on my face slowly fading.
"What?" I ask her and she looks at me, slightly wide eyed. She flinches as she stands up but I help her sit down again.
"Venus beat me up not as a part of war skill. But as if she was angry watching me around you," Edna says again.
