Alonso's POV
There was a rush of emotions when I watched the sunrise with Venus earlier. The way she was smiling. The way her auburn hair blended with the color of sky before her. The way Theo was looking at her while she was smiling at the sunrise. I cannot help but ask her if this is really what she wants. And with someone always around us, I cannot seem to get a moment of time alone with her.
Edna walks away to the pack house while I just tilt my head at Venus, asking her to follow me. Theo bows deep as I walk away along with Venus.
"It was fun," I attempted making small talk until we reached the other side of the pack where it is a lot more secluded.
"Yeah. It was beautiful," Venus says again with a smile. But in her face, it's clear that she cannot help but wonder what this is all about.
We didn't talk about anything until we were on the other side of the pack. And finally, I turn to her. Her brown eyes look a tad bit worried as she looks at me.
