Venus's POV
"What's with you and Alonso?" She asks me, coming straight to the point and I bite my bottom lip thinking of a clever response but none come to my mind at the moment.
"The guards used the pack's link for it. Please tell me that's not true, Venus" my mother demands as she walks towards me in quick strides.
She grabs my hair that's falling over my shoulder and pulls it aside softly, revealing the mark. And her eyes go wide when she sees the tattoo which now clearly shows that it's Alonso. If my scent does not give away, the tattoo does.
"And who is this with you?" She asks again, her eyes landing on Marissa.
Marissa shrinks under the gaze of my mother, prompting me to hold her hand tighter. She is not a Rogue but she is more scared of her life than a Rogue does. As a matter of fact, A rogue is the most fierce in a way. They don't care if they are about to be dead but still do whatever the fuck they want.
