Venus's eyes were firm on me and I knew it without even turning around. A lot has happened in the last two days. I am still here and everyone thinks it's because I am waiting to meet my mate. But only I know the knife behind my back. Constantly making its presence known.
And that invisible knife is being held by my father who is asking me to stay here so I can still have my hold on the throne. I don't know how I am going to do it after everyone approves Venus over me. But I have to. Or Theo wouldn't stay alive.
