Alonso's POV
The lady who is dressed in all black doesn't even resemble Marissa. That's when I realized that this is yet another plan to get Marissa back to the camp.
The main question that's been running through my mind is why is the so-called chief so eager and restless to get Marissa back to the camp. It's either she holds valuable information that she still hasn't shared with Venus or I. Or Marissa herself is valuable.
I can't rule out the second possibility because she is not a Rogue. She is a pure blooded werewolf. But she was just raised by the Rogues.
"Who are you?" Marissa asks her and the lady just spills a few fake tears.
"Your mother," the lady says and her acting skills suck!
"My guard here has more resemblance to Marissa than you," Venus scrunches her nose and I do my best to keep a straight face.
Sometimes her mouth doesn't have a filter. Her words just come straight out of her mind and she doesn't even realize it.
