Olivia’s POV
The question struck me in the bone. I had never really thought about it.
The people that killed my father were cruel, and they deserved death, but I never really thought that I would be the one to exact that vengeance. Would I even be able to do it? Would I even be able to take another's life just because he took that of someone else I loved?

André was still staring at me. This solemnity in his eyes had changed to concern, and he reached out and held my hands tenderly.
"You don't have to think about it. We will know once we..."
"No, André. I should have thought about it before we went on the journey. Now that you've mentioned it, I don't know what I would do, but I'm certain that they will not go free if we find them. They will have to pay for taking my father away from me."
