I walked into the dimly lit study where my Beta, Daniel, was waiting for me. He looked up as I entered, his expression serious.
"Daniel, have you heard anything about Ardolf?" I asked, getting straight to the point.
Daniel shook his head. "He's still in the dungeons, Your Highness. Waiting for his fate to be decided."
I frowned, feeling a pang of guilt at the thought of Ardolf locked away in a cell. "When do you think I should execute him?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
