Before Arya could respond, Davina suddenly appeared, her presence looming over them.
She reached out and took Racheal's hand possessively. "Sorry, Arya, but Racheal already has me as her best friend. She doesn't need another friend," Davina said firmly.
Arya's smile faltered, replaced by a cold, hard look. "I can just steal Racheal away from you" she retorted, her tone laced with bitterness.
Davina's grip on Racheal's hand tightened as she shot back, "No, you can't."
Arya let out a laugh, but it held no warmth. "Relax, Davina, I was just kidding," she said dismissively, trying to brush off the tension.
But Davina didn't find it amusing. "It's not funny, Arya," she replied sternly, her voice tinged with frustration.
Suddenly feeling a wave of hurt wash over her, Arya's facade crumbled, and tears threatened to spill from her eyes. She turned away, unable to bear the rejection. "I... I didn't mean to upset anyone," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
