Third person POV
Alpha Axel and Beta Daniel sat in the throne room, discussing pack business.
Axel leaned forward, his piercing eyes fixed on Daniel.
"So, tell me, how did you meet your mate Arya?" Axel asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
Daniel smiled, a fond look in his eyes. "I met her in Rome while I was on a lycan assignment. She was working as a translator for the local pack there. It was love at first sight."
Axel nodded, impressed. "That's quite the story. I am so glad you found your mate, Daniel."
The conversation took a sudden turn as Axel's expression darkened. "Daniel, I heard from Racheal that you told her Rachael is pregnant. Is that true?"
Daniel's eyes widened in surprise. "No, I didn't tell her that. I swear, Axel."
Axel's brows furrowed in confusion. "Then why would she say that you did?"
Daniel hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I must have accidentally mentioned it in passing. I didn't mean to, Axel. I am sorry."
Axel's jaw clenched as he processed Daniel
