Eleanor's POV
The weight of the moment sank in and my fears turned into reality at the sight of Killian. His grayish eyes were sharp, sharp enough to see through me. My heart raced and my throat clogged as many emotions filled me.
Taylor showed up as well and she made a half run to catch up with Killian's pace, entwining her arms around him with a smile on her face.
She chortled and whispered something in his ears, running her fingers on his broad chest. She was dressed in an extravagant mini gown which exposed most of her thighs. The v-cut around the neck showed off her cleavages and her four inch stilettos made her taller than she originally was.
I raised an unimpressed brow, feeling slightly annoyed to see her once again. Killian forced a smile on his face, his eyes darting across several faces in the hall.
When he took a glance in my direction, I averted my gaze from him immediately.
I could feel my palms become sweaty as I stared Xavier approaching me with a smile on his face.
