The trial had gone to plan and I was proud of my uncle and grateful to my mate that he allowed him the opportunity. I was a little surprised that he had turned down the alpha position and when he called for my borther I shot up out of my seat, looking wildly at Tristan and then watching my brother and his mate Sarah make their way forward to stand in the front near Z.
I held my breath while Tristan spoke.
"Aerick, you have proven yourself in battle over the last several years and have done a great job of assisting your brother in both his alpha heir duties and his duties as leader of the Elite. You have just recently found your mate correct?" He asked loudly, even though he already knew the answer. The wheels in my head began to turn.
Aerick's voice rang out loud and clear. "Yes, your highness. My mate is Sarah, first born daughter to Alpha Fredrick of Forest Moon," he replied.
"So you both come from alpha lines, two of the strongest and most loyal packs in the kingdom?"
