Calla waited for morning. She freshened up and went straight to Harper's room.
They met on the way because Harper was trying to go to hers as well.
Calla rushed down and hugged Harper tightly leaving her surprised and confused.
“I am sorry, Harper. I said hurtful words to you. I shouldn't have.”
“Calla, I'm the one who is sorry. You have a point. I should have mentioned it to you regardless of how I feel about the whole thing. I should have summoned the courage to speak about it to you. You deserve to know the truth and I'm truly sorry for keeping the truth from you.”
“I am sorry I misunderstood you. I know better now. You've always wanted the best for me, nothing less than that. If there's anyone I should treat with so much respect and love, I'm certain it is you. I'm so sorry I allowed my emotions to control me.”
Calla hugged her tightly.
Harper was almost in tears. She doesn't know what to say. She must have had a heavy heart through the night.
“Let's go to your room.” Calla said.
