Arms wrap around me, a soft kiss placed upon my cheek as a smile stretches across my lips.
“Grandma?” I said, I was surprised to see her in the hospital. She was not my biological grandmother but she was a good elderly lady I befriended when I saw in the woods one day, picking up some wild apples.
“Sweetie,” she said, kissing my cheeks. “I knew that it was you the moment I saw you standing with two handsome men,” she added, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Oh uhm…” I blushed. “This is my boyfriend, Eliot and my le-friend, Zero,” I said as I held her hand.
The old lady smiled, eyeing Eliot who seemed to be uncomfortable.
With this, I turned my head to the side, meeting his lips and we closed the space between us. Pulling away, I saw the old lady smiling at me.
“Ah, it’s good to be young,” she said and then looked at Zero. “But this other gentleman here seemed to envy you two.”
Zero just looked at me blankly.
"Grandma!"
"You two are just too adorable," she commented, winking playfully at me
