"Why are you so scared of your brother?" asked Zein as Cherry was getting ready to go home when she had tried to hold back.
"I've explained it before," replied Cherry gently.
Zein took Cherry's hands, looked closely at her eyeballs, then kissed the back of Cherry's hand. "You're a growing girl and your brother should know better than to keep restricting your movements by passing regulations."
Zein's warm gaze made Cherry melted, and she put her bag back down and hugged him. "Honey, brother Langit has given me this trust, my duty is to keep the trust he put in me," said Cherry softly, trying to get Zein to understand Langit's rules that asked her to be home before 9:00 p.m.
