Elena's eyelids fluttered open as the darkness went away, and revealed a blurry view, she cleared her eyes with the back of her palm and blinked twice to see clearly.
"I'm glad that you are finally awake," An elderly woman said.
Elena recognized the voice and a smile crept into her face voluntarily.
"Mrs. Cluterford!" Elena called weakly and sighed "You need rest darling, tell me, what do you need?" Mrs. Cluterford asked her softly, kindness was shown all around her body gestures. Her brown hair was tied in a tight bun on the top of her head, giving her an all-around stern look and aura.
"Just a glass of water," Elena replied and sat up a bit leaning on the pillow.
