Hope threaded through me again when I sensed my mate’s presence in the cold and hard dungeons but my face fell when I saw who else had come.
Not wanting to give the fucking vampire king the satisfaction of seeing me subdued, I smirked at him to hide my own insecurities and welcomed him.
“Well hello there, Your Highness !” I sarcastically chirped.
The young, powerful teen gave me the stinky eye in return and huffed, “Gawd, I already feel a headache coming on seeing you,” he rubbed his forehead.
“Nice to meet you too,” I rolled my eyes but caught my mate’s love filled, soft gaze from the corner of my eye.
