LEO'S POV
THE PRESENT……
I crouched behind a stack of rusted containers near the west fence. The gates were heavily guarded, ruling it out as an option—the reason why I carefully cut through the barbed wire, breaching the wall.
One guard stood by the back door, partially distracted. He has a stick of cigarette in his mouth, his gun slung across his shoulder with his left finger slightly wrapped around the trigger while he scrolled through his phone with his right hand, giggling.
“Damn it!” I cursed under my breath. It was my only entrance into the warehouse.
I took a peep around me, spotting a sheet of iron rod on the floor. Picking it up, I flung it to my far left.
Clink! It clattered on a container, drawing the guard's attention.
“Who's there?” He put his phone back into his pocket, crushing his cigarette under his foot, and gripping his gun securely.
Moving cautiously in a calculated manner, he matched towards the source of the noise. That was all I needed to move stealthily thro
