KATHERINE'S POV
Ever since Henry left, the room felt heavier, as if his presence had left behind an invisible weight that pressed down on my chest. Hazel was pacing again, her heels clicking sharply against the floor, each step a punctuation mark to her growing frustration. She stopped abruptly, turning to face me with her arms crossed and her expression tight.
"That's it?"
I stared at her, confused because we just had a conversation about Franklin and Alex trying to take him away from me.
"What?"
She sighed loudly and shook her head as if in disbelief that I was asking her such a question.
