Maya’s Point Of View
The first thing I felt when I woke was pain. A dull, deep, all-consuming ache that throbbed between my thighs, spread across my hips, my ribs, my breasts. I shifted slightly and hissed. God, everything hurt.
My eyes fluttered open, blinking against the golden evening light filtering through my curtains. For a moment, I stared blankly at the ceiling, disoriented, my mind sluggish, my body weighed down by invisible chains.
Why was I so sore? Why did I feel... used?
The blanket slipped from my body, and that’s when I noticed. I was naked. Completely, utterly bare under the sheets. A choked gasp ripped from my throat. I clutched the blanket desperately to my chest, my heart hammering, a scream rising in my throat.
What happened? What the hell happened?!
I tried to sit up, and a sharp, searing pain shot through my core, making me collapse back down with a whimper.
