As soon as the door closed behind me, I heaved a sigh of relief . I didn't know why I was tense but I was. Perhaps, it was because I had seen her safe and alive. The past two days – although I would never admit it – had been disturbing for me.
I never cared about anyone the way I cared about her brat and it infuriated me. I didn't care about her. I couldn't care about the daughter of my enemy, let alone one who was as spoilt as she was.
But the way my heart drew in my chest when I saw her big, green eyes. she was such a puppy who just needed love and attention.
I shook my head, banishing the thoughts away. She was like a cankerworm devouring me slowly bit by bit. if I weren't so careful, I knew that I'd be falling and she was the last person that I wanted to fall with. I needed to eliminate her in a hurry.
