Seraphina's POV

My heart raced as I thought about all of the things Lycan Fabian could already know. The fact that I was a spy was one of them. Was he going to kill me? if he already knew, why did he still keep me close despite what I might reveal to my father?

“Fabian doesn’t know anything,” she affirmed, leaning forward in her seat. “For now.”

I instantly I went on my knees despite the pain in between my thighs. “Please, don’t tell him,” I pleaded. “He will kill me… and my family. Please, I’ll do whatever you want.”

She drew me up to my feet then softly moved me to sit on the bed. “Did I not tell you not to get up?” she sighed. “You are still healing and moving around too much might do more harm to you.”

I sniffed. “I – my family… they are relying on you. I have to do what I have to do. for them.

“Why do you still watch about them after all they did to you?

She looked at me like I was stupid. “You don’t have to do anything for them!” she snapped. “The moment you envisaged

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     The Eclipse of Power

: Seraphina's POV The sky looked like it was bleeding. The Blood Moon was at its height with it crimson spilling across everything. And with it came all the things I was afraid of were eventually turning out to be true. I felt the weight of it pressing into me, sinking deep, all the way to my bones. Power sprouting within me with an intense, sharp and wild feeling as pushing at me, fighting to break free. It was too much and I could feel it tearing me apart.Seraphina stay focused !” Fabian shouted. His voice cut through everything else. I turned to him, and for the first time, I saw it in his eyes the kind of fear l have never seen before . The magic wouldn’t stop. It clawed its way out so wild and endless, pulled by the Blood Moon. I couldn’t hold it back. The power I had tried to bury and the part of me I never wanted to face, was breaking free now.Fabian’s face tightened, shadows casted across his features. His stormy gray eyes glanced at mine without unflinching.“You have to,”

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Blood on the Horizon .

Seraphina's POV.The horizon was on fire and the sky was alive with flashes of war. What was peaceful few moments ago now shook with the roar of battle the rogues had unleashed everything on us. Fabian stood beside me, his grip was firm on his weapon. His face was filled with determination, calm and focused, but I knew him too well. Beneath that calm was tension as sharp and restless. With a low voice, his final words were "This is it," with reassurance. I glanced at him, my chest felt tight with the weight of it all the kingdom, the people depending on us and the future we were fighting for. Everything hung in the balance. And Fabian… he wasn’t the same man I knew. The calm and calculating king was still there, but layered over it was something far darker. A need for vengeance that burned in his eyes.It was always going to be this moment, but I couldn't anticipate anything more. The sound of battle grew louder, closer and clear and we were tested more than ever before. We were mov

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Final Stand.

Seraphina 's POV.Silence in the war room weighed heavily on me. I saw Fabian standing next to me, with a worried expression on his face and dark eyes. We received immediate and significant information about an enemy that was more dangerous than we had encountered before. It seemed like a grave and persistent threat. I hesitated. "Who am I thinking of?" I quipped, half-heartedly. Everything in my mind was shouting, "We should have seen that now before this. What happened? We need to uncover their identity,' Fabian replied with a raspy tone. "They have been playing games for us since they came on, but who knows?". I nodded and felt the familiar sensation of betrayal in my gut.. It was a fragile moment and we had made it through, but it felt like the weight of my bones would not hold up. How could we have come up with this sizable scheme? There was a feeling of being under the shadows. Following days of intense tension and growing suspicion.... All those who were part of our kingdom

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Eye of the Storm.

Seraphina’s POVThe moon was glowing bright and golden above us, it seems it softening the sharp edges of the night like it was trying to comfort me. But it didn’t. I couldn’t feel comfort and not with this weight pressing down on my chest. It had been there for days, growing heavier. The air was heavily dense and still, it was hard to breathe as it was choking , like the whole earth paused itself so tight and was dearly waiting for something we couldn’t name. And the night and it was too quiet. But I could feel something apart from that silence, something heavy. Fear. though it wasn’t loud, even at that it was there and feels like it was pressing in, like the air itself knew what was coming. I felt it in as my heart was beating too fast in my bones, even in the way Fabian’s hand squeezed mine a little fingers tight, like he felt it too.We were standing at the balcony again. Fabian always managed to pull me out here, away from the war room and away from all the noise and chaos. I th

Seraphina’s POVThe moon was actually hanging high above, its light was slipping through the clouds like it was reaching out to me. I was glancing below, the land that looked so calm and whole again. The kingdom that was once ripped apart by war and betrayal, looked like finally it was resting and like it had found its place at last.Though , It was stood there staring out at it, I couldn’t shake off the feeling aching in my chest. A quiet and like unease, something deep inside me that refused to let go.Tonight, felt like it was different and There was something different about tonight. The air seems like it was too thick and heavy and could choke someone up. It looked as if the entire kingdom paused its breath and was waiting for something none of us could name.Fabian stood silent beside me, though he was quiet as the night itself. His shadow fell across the balcony, his body frame was casting a reflection on balcony floor but his presence seems heavy yet it did so little to ease t

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    A Forever Bond.

Seraphina's POV. The morning was just setting though it was quiet. The sky was painted in soft shades of purple and gold, more beautiful than I’d seen in a long time. The kingdom was calm and resting at last. Still, all I could feel was the heaviness of what it had cost us the battles, the losses and the sacrifices we made to bring us here. I knew peace like this never really lasted. It seems so fragile like something you had to hold tight before it slipped away.Peace, as I had learned, was only temporary and needed to be held with both hands. It could never be taken for granted. I stood by the balcony, though my thoughts were drifting over the land. Fabian had always been the anchor I relied on, the sole one that has been constant in this ever-changing world. We had finally united the packs of Lycan and Moonridge and transformed the kingdom much more powerful than we had ever dreamed. However, there was a feeling of uncertainty within me. The feeling of fragile peace persisted des
