Seraphina’s POV

I remained with Ingrid for a few more days, and then it was time for us to continue our journey. Although I didn’t want to leave, I knew disobeying Lycan Fabian was out o the question. The past few days, his temperaments were above the charts.

If I begged to stay a few more days, roast me with his eyes.

I turned towards Ingrid who was filling my bag with medications and other essentials she thought I needed and my eyes stung with tears.

“Thank you,” I whispered. “For everything. I haven’t a clue how I’ll ever reimburse this debt.”

She offered a small smile. “You own me nothing, but if you insist on paying me, then the only way you can do that is to promise never to betray him. A lot of people have done that to him already, it is why he finds it so hard to trust anyone.”

I swallowed, lowering my head, because betraying him was the very thing I intended to do.

“Those scars on your back…” she continued. “How did you get them?”

I was sure she already knew how because she

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Gallows.

Seraphina's POV.It is a cold night, the sort which had enclosed me as I lay on the floor with feet shivering from top to bottom. Dryness and mold clung to the atmosphere within the tunnel, and faint torchlight illuminated the black nooks and corners of my confinement. My brain was stumbling, attempting to get its hold around the actions which had gotten me here unrestrained by iron and fate. The nightfall pack still lingered in my head, the chaos of it occurring too fast for me to keep up with. Fabian's sudden intrusion into my life, and their brutal way of taking control, made everything seem ridiculous. Nothing felt real anymore. My head was reeling as the door to my cell groaned open. My heart was pounding, believing it to be another guard, or worse yet, one of Chloe's cruel tricks. The person standing in the doorway took my heart by surprise. It was so intimidating.Fabian.He stood there shadowed with an intimidating aura of presence. A thrill ran down my body as his black, stor

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Arrival

Seraphina’s POVI was tired from all the travelling. Lycan Fabian looked like a man who had money and power, so why didn’t he use flight instead of travelling by road when the journey was so long? I could hardly count how many days we spent on the road, minus all the stops we had to make. Most of them very unnecessary.Just when I started to give up hope of us ever arriving at our destination, the car stopped. I peeped at the man beside me and frowned. What was the problem now?The man stepped outside first, then came round the car to open my side of the door. “We’re here,” he announced without looking at my face. I bit the inside of my cheek as warmth spread all over me.Now, came my suffering.Maybe I shouldn’t have been so impatient for us to get here. But I couldn’t bare sitting in the car one minute longer.Grabbing my bag, I slipped out of the car, my mouth lowering open when I took in the sheer size of his land. Then there was the mansion, which hovered above me, dark, gloomy a

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Blood Trails

Seraphina’s POVThe trip returned became suffocating. The air in the armored automobile became heavy with silence, a silence that screamed louder than phrases. Seraphina sat together along with her eyes glued to the floor, her wrists bruised from the ropes that had these days sure her, her spirit even extra battered than her skin. Fabian hadn`t checked out her as soon as on the grounds that they escaped the ambush, and she or he felt each 2nd of his silence like a dagger urgent deeper into her chest. She had stored herself. Again. And yet, the load of his sadness wrapped round her like chains. The second they arrived on the estate, Fabian`s guys scattered, securing each front and scanning for threats. Fabian stepped out first, barking orders with deadly precision.“Double the perimeter. Secure the east and south walls. Check for magical traces.”Then, he grew to become to one in all his guards and pointed to her. “Take her to her room. Don`t allow her out.”Seraphina opened her mouth.

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Kidnapped

Seraphina’s POVThe men eyed me, most of them licked their tongues, but thankfully, they made no move towards me.“We need to get out of here,” one of the men in the group said. “We will use her to bargain with Fabian. I’m sure if he values her, he’ll give us something huge in exchange for her life.”“I’m not important to him!” spoke up quickly. “Lycan Fabian doesn’t value my life as much as you think. I am nothing but a lowly slave who he took prisoner.”The man holding me snorted, digging his claws deeper into my neck. “Liar! You were hiding in the car while the rest o his men fought.” He smiled wryly, his eyes glinting with promises of what he intended to do with me.Turning to face the men, he snapped his fingers. “We are leaving with the princess. Someone gets over her and tie her up. Properly. If she escapes, I’ll have your head.”My throat dried up and my chest constricted. A man stumbled towards us, pulling me towards him roughly. He bound my hands, and legs, making it tight e

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     The Oracle`s Awakening

Seraphina`s POVThe sour wind stung my face, however it couldn`t fit the bloodless inner me. What had simply happened? The war had ended, however the anxiety withinside the air remained thick. I may want to slightly trap my breath as Fabian's grip on my arm tightened, dragging me far from the clearing."What the hell turned into that?" I gasped, looking to constant myself. My frame felt weak, however the weight of the instant pressed harder. It wasn`t simply the aftermath of war,it turned into the foreboding presence of something else, deeper than the battle we had simply fought.Fabian became to me, his expression a combination of situation and something darker. "Stay focused, Seraphina. We're now no longer finished yet."I nodded, my thoughts racing. We're now no longer finished. What did that mean? As I attempted to accumulate my thoughts, an abnormal sensation washed over me, like a whisper buried withinside the returned of my thoughts, a name I couldn`t pretty hear. My tattoo bur

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Pact of the shadow.

Seraphina's POV.The pain in my neck throbbed painfully, although it was nothing to the rising panic in my chest. The man's claws dug deeper, and I felt the slow creep of blood dripping down my flesh. My feet stumbled, but I quickly regained my balance, trying to steady myself as I was being drawn forward.I scanned the unknown faces around me, the pack members watching with cold eyes. My heartbeat was rapidly, pounding in my ears as I tried to make sense of my situation. Where was Fabian? Why hadn’t he come to stop this? The man growled and gripped my arm as if to move.I didn't fight it. What good would it do? There were too many, and I didn't have the stamina to get away. My survival was without a wolf or pack. As I had previously disclosed to Fabian, I was a vulnerable invalid in the center of their territory. But he hadn't believed me.Where is this guy going, I just choked over there with my voice? The blood on my neck was warm and sticky. The experience made me feel vulnerable,

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    An Invalid

Seraphina’s POVI heard his voice and suddenly I realized I'd fallen out of my head. I swallowed, trying to remember the thing he had asked me.“No, I finally replied. Whatever his question was, yes would have to be the answer, and if it was not no then certainly it was a gamble. “I would never!”He cracked his lips open in a grin that tightened my chest, ‘Even if you're a spy, I'm going to make sure you've got nothing to spy on'My mouth dropped. Can he read minds? Goddess, this was pretty hard. “I – I do not understand.“You will. All werewolves can communicate with the members of their packs through the mind link, no matter how far apart they are, and I 'm sure that's how you intend to talk to your father to let him know what I have in mind.Well, maybe he cannot read minds but he was damm good at guessing. The only thing he guessed wrong was that I was not going to be using the mind link to communicate with my father and that’s why the tattoo was there.‘I can’t speak to them’ I w

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Prophecy

Fabian’s POVAs soon as the door closed behind me, I heaved a sigh of relief . I didn't know why I was tense but I was. Perhaps, it was because I had seen her safe and alive. The past two days – although I would never admit it – had been disturbing for me.I never cared about anyone the way I cared about her brat and it infuriated me. I didn't care about her. I couldn't care about the daughter of my enemy, let alone one who was as spoilt as she was.But the way my heart drew in my chest when I saw her big, green eyes. she was such a puppy who just needed love and attention.I shook my head, banishing the thoughts away. She was like a cankerworm devouring me slowly bit by bit. if I weren't so careful, I knew that I'd be falling and she was the last person that I wanted to fall with. I needed to eliminate her in a hurry. But I was going to make her beg for death first. We're departing tomorrow," I said, standing in front of Ingrid. "Get the men prepared. Will you accompany us?"Her brow
