The person who caught the bullet that was supposed to be for me was Ares. He was shot near his heart, making him fall to the ground. I could feel my body tremble as I looked at Ares. My eyes turned at Alexander who was smirking.
“Well done. I killed him.”
Gritting my teeth, I ran into his direction and killed Alexander with the gun. The gun that he used towards Ares. Tears were still streaming down to my eyes as I took the life of Alexander. I would never stop not until I heard Ares.
“A-Athena…”
My legs were still trembling as I went back into Ares' direction. He was already hugging our son, Apollo. Apollo let him hug him. The child was confused, but his eyes seemed to recognize that the man hugging him was actually his father. There was blood flowing from Ares' wounds, so I cut his shirt to cover it and to stop the bleeding.
“This is the happiest day of my life that I finally feel my son, Athena. You have no idea how you made me happy now.”
I don't like how Ares sounded
