The words that came out from Ares' mouth still rang into my head. I can't get over it. I thought he would deny me in front of a woman, but he actually did not. That surprised me.
“What did you do to him last night?”
I just heard Ralph almost whisper to me. I looked at him, blushing.
“Never happened, Alpha Ralph.” I said, but he chuckles.
I just can't believe that Alpha Ralph thinks something happened between me and Ares, but there was nothing. I can't even believe what he just mentioned a while ago.

My head turned at Stacy. It's as if she can't believe the words she heard from Alpha Ares. She even looked at me from head to toe, brows were furrowed. That kind of look is disgusting.
“I don't believe you.”
My mouth widened from Stacy's words towards Ares. I suddenly felt my blood heated up.
“I don't need to explain myself to you, Stacy. Get out of my house. You are not supposed to be here in the first place. Don't push yourself to me because I don't want you anymore.
