It seems like my world stopped from moving when I heard those words from Alpha Ares. He looks so mad towards his opponent that he almost killed him even though the fight has not started yet.
I could feel the tension between them. No one wanted to back off and knowing Ares, he won't let anyone go in his way.
“I was surprised that you wanted to let it go, Ares. You wanted my sister, right?”
I was about to celebrate because I felt that Ares really cared for me but then his opponent suddenly just mentioned that Ares wanted his sister. Damn.
I can't understand why I am feeling this way. I was supposed to hate him, right? Then, what's all of this?
Why did I suddenly feel pain? Where did I get it?
Despite the confusion inside my head at this moment, my eyes were still with them. My eyes were still with Ares and his next words made me stunned in my direction.
“I don't need your sister anymore, Alpha Cole. I already have my wife and that girl you wanted to get is mine.”
