Richard's POV
Her right leg hooks over my thighs as she snuggles further into my sides, causing a low chuckle to escape my lips.
Satisfied with this moment, I wrap an arm around her, pulling her further in, until she starts to murmur in her sleep.
I almost laugh again.
This is a side of Arabel I have never seen.
When we were married, we barely slept together in the same room, and I really find this adorable.
Perhaps it's because she was drunk last night.
Suddenly, her eyes flicker open, and she shoots to her feet, stalking to the door without looking at me.
“Hey,” I call to her without getting out of bed. “Nothing happened.”
