{Ciril’s POV}
I made sure the spear pierced through his heart and standing before him now, he looked like a confused bleeding mess.
He was just realizing that allowing him to smash me against the wall had been part of my plan from the start and after a moment, he reflected anger plus a defeated look on his face.
I left the Celestial State and went back to normal form now.
I gazed at the Dark One with hate and contempt and he did the same towards me, only that pain was added to his list.
“You…” he started to mutter, breaking the tense silence between us. I glared at him and didn’t say anything while he spoke.
“You’re.. you're stubborn, I give you that.” He said, panting, and in reaction, I raised a brow at his unwillingness to admit that I had won.
I prompted him to say it now. “Do you still think I am losing?” I asked him now and he smiled weakly. It was his characteristic gesture, smiling like a lunatic, and he did so now instead of immediately responding.
