{Ciril’s POV}
“Now you will join them.” The Dark One’s voice reigned on me.
My hand ached..
It ached because my grip was uncomfortable.
I was barely hanging.
The burst of the Dark One’s action had been so sudden and I had barely caught myself from falling so the way I was positioned now was not something you would call convenient.
And to make it worse, I was forced out of the Celestial State because of the stun of that moment. I was scared now— scared of falling. Scared of dying.
Coupled with the rage of the water streaming down below, I wasn’t a very good swimmer, so the chances of me surviving such a fall even in the Celestial State were very slim— or didn’t even exist.
The Dark One was standing menacingly before me now, relishing in all his self-induced glory.
He looked very pleased as he gazed down at me. To him, he had won and the only thing left was to bash me into the raging current… but what he didn’t know was that I still had a move to pull.
