Lucy’s POV

The firelight flickered softly against the dense forest shadows as I stood before the circle of young pack members gathered in the clearing. The quiet hum of night creatures was punctuated only by the occasional rustle of leaves. I inhaled deeply, my breath steadying as I prepared to speak.

“Kids, I want your full attention,” I said, my voice calm but firm, carrying the weight of my Luna authority. “If anything’s unclear or if doubts creep in, don’t hesitate to ask. Okay?”

“Yes, Ma’am,” the group replied in unison, their minds linked in a seamless bond of loyalty and respect.

Leena’s voice broke through next, tinged with concern. “Boys, where are you now? Are you close to Diamond Ville?”

“Mom, we’re all safe at home with Seris,” Draven replied calmly.

“That’s good,” I said with relief, gesturing for them to settle. “Get comfortable. I’m about to share with you something crucial — the Great Prophecy.”

Kael chuckled, breaking the tension. “Sounds like the opening scene of a dramatic movie!”

Seris nudged him sharply. “Kael, sit down before you shove me off this log.”

“Guys, quiet,” Draven muttered with an edge.

“Yeah, settle down,” Damon added, smirking as he glanced at Seris. I could almost picture her playfully swatting him.

When all were settled and attentive, I closed my eyes for a brief moment. I silently prayed to the Moon Goddess, seeking guidance. The vision of a blooming lotus appeared before my mind’s eye — a sign I was on the right path.

Opening my eyes, I spoke with renewed confidence, “The former Seer of the Diamond Heart Pack once foresaw a time when the five elemental packs would face a shared threat — a turning point that would decide the fate of our entire supernatural world. It’s a warning to stay united, to hold fast to our bonds, because everything that happens... happens for a reason.”

I paused, looking around at their focused faces. Even the forest seemed to hold its breath.

“This may sound simple, but in reality, relationships are fracturing. Pack loyalties are eroding at an alarming rate,” I continued. “The prophecy, nearly a century old, predicts a great war — one that will decide if the supernatural realm continues to exist or if it will be destroyed for its own sake.”

A hush fell over the group.

“An Alpha female,” I said, voice lowering, “gifted with the powers of six wolves and vampire strength, will lead this war. Her opponent: a Rogue Vampire King, half-blood and equally powerful, with the same six wolf spirits and vampiric might. The Rogue King can only claim victory if he kills all of the Alpha female’s mates and shatters the Blue Opal spell.”

At that, a sharp gasp echoed from Damon.

“That’s Lucan’s pearl!” he whispered, eyes wide.

“Yes,” I nodded. “But the full power and purpose of the pearl are unknown, even to many within our own packs. The prophecy is closely guarded by the Diamond Heart Pack, while the pearl remains under the Ocean Spirit Pack’s protection.”

Seris frowned. “If not everyone knows the prophecy, how can the packs prepare for what’s coming?”

“Because the prophecy can only be revealed when the time is right — by someone outside the Diamond Heart Pack,” I explained. “Any pack member who tries to share it prematurely will be turned to stone. The curse will only lift once the Rogue Vampire King is defeated.”

Kael’s eyes narrowed. “Has anyone been cursed like that?”

“No one confirmed,” I said carefully. “But we suspect something happened with the former Luna of the Moon Shine Pack. She originally belonged to the Ocean Spirit Pack, then the Crystal Blood Pack, before joining the Moon Shine. She believed deeply in the mate bond and convinced your fathers to abandon their playboy ways until they found their mates — which is why they all came to Asheville.”

Leena added, “That Luna never sparked a war between packs when she switched alliances — which is unusual. No one even challenged her passage. That silence hints at secrets deeper than we know.”

Draven leaned forward, brows furrowed. “What’s the current hierarchy of the offspring, then?”

“All we know is their blood is pure,” Leena said. “Unadulterated. No mixing from rogue bloodlines.”

“Meaning?” Damon asked, puzzled.

“That despite three mates, the Luna never had children,” I answered. “If she’s not the mother, then who is? We don’t know. But the former Alpha and Luna of the Silver Bow Pack were killed in a war against the Moon Shine Pack when they were visiting friends. It’s troubling — no outsiders were allowed to investigate, and the story quickly died.”

Leena’s voice dropped. “Yet the Silver Bow Pack never retaliated and kept trading peacefully. There’s definitely something bigger at play.”

Seris broke the silence, eyes sharp. “You mentioned the Rogue Vampire King shares the Alpha female’s powers. What exactly are those powers?”

“Each commands six wolves,” I said, “and both possess vampire strength of equal measure.”

Kael shifted, curiosity winning out. “Why are you telling us all this, Aunt Lucy?”

Draven’s voice was steady but cautious. “Yeah, what does this have to do with us?”

I met their gazes, heart steady. “Because you are the next generation. You are the ones who will face this war. You carry the blood, the power, and the responsibility. The Blue Opal’s fate rests with you all. Your mates, your pack, and the bonds you forge — they’re all part of this prophecy.”

The fire crackled, and the wind whispered through the trees as the weight of my words settled.

My pendant gleamed in a quiet shimmer, a silent reminder that destiny was already in motion.

Zara’s POV“I will seriously kick your butts if you do anything preposterous,” Dy growled while glaring at Uncle Ryder and Jax who held one each of the naughty whelps in their arms.“Tell that to Samantha. She tied up your laces like that,” Uncle Ryder said while looking down at his fallen brother and pointing to Dy’s shoes which were connected together by shoelaces of different shoes knotted together.“That spoilt brat,” Dy murmured as he sat up and tried to untangle the mess that he was in. “I am pretty sure that she will love the “mud” pack that I will specially send to her now,” he evilly chuckled.“Why are you guys always doing that ?” I huffed. “Why don’t you men prepare for the Coronation instead and why the hell are you even here, Jax ? Who’s receiving the guests if you are here ?” I asked alarmed.“That pregnant sissy of a Beta of yours shooed me away coz the smell of the coffee that I drank ages ago made him gag while standing near me and he claimed that he could handle the

What else do you expect them to eat ? Grass ?” he sarcastically added.“They ate up that too !!” Dy whined. “Along with the worms clinging to it,” he scrunched his face and continued. “I guess they wanted to eat the worms only,” he thought out loud.“Oh fuck off ! The other day I saw you teasing my babies by throwing grapes at them from various places !! They are kids, Kai ! Why the fuck would you do that ?” Jax hollered at his brother.“Really Kai ? Did you really do that ?” Dad asked his mate in surprise while pulling up Dy’s chin to

Zara’s POVAs the song came to a perfect finish, I could not help but smooch the soul out of the cool guitarist who kept me caged between his legs.I could still feel the goosebumps on my skin everywhere and I was starting to feel giddy as his lips slotted perfectly with mine.I could hear the crowd cheer wildly for us but suddenly something felt wrong and my senses heightened making me switch into alert mode immediately.Luckily for me, Jax was one step ahead of me and had shielded us from the three pointy, life taking daggers by pushing the guitar’s broad base in front of us.“YOU ARE SO DEAD, ZHEN,” Dad shouted from behind but he was halted in his tracks as an army of possessed wolves and dragons suddenly formed a barricade between us and a fleeing Zhen !“Shit. These are the rogue wolves that had died not long back. Someone possessed them !” Rob mindlinked me. “Possessed creatures are so much more difficult to fight off,” he wailed. “I am beginning to wish that they were alive ins
