Alec’s POV
It was another week.
Yet, another day to see the face of a man I wished I didn't have to. Every new day of a new week was a day to meet up with the Alpha at the dining hall.
It hadn't happened in the last three weeks because I didn't want to go. But it didn't change the rules or anything. There was no way I would ignore today.
“Good morning, Beta Alec.”
“Good morning and how are you?” I adjusted my coat.
The weather wasn't so nice this morning, it hasn't been nice since a night ago. “Have a good day—” I added as I walked towards the living room. This was the time to have that moment at the dining hall—I just had to be there.
But what next?
Doesn't the Alpha think he owes me an apology?
Can't he see he should apologize to me? Why isn't he doing that? A scoff escaped my mouth and I wondered now about how the moment would start or even end.
In silence?
Or would we talk about the issues?
“Good morning.” I stood at the entrance of the hall.
“This is the point where
