“Mate is in danger, mate is in danger,” My wolf wouldn’t stop yapping in my head but I knew that already and her agitation made me feel even worse. The pains were coming more frequently, and I’d barely recovered from one before another hit me. I growled, and Vadirr snapped his head to me. He was sitting beside me at the back of the vehicle while the other man drove.
“You feel the pain,” He commented “I have known Draven all my life. Sometimes, I believe I know him more than I know myself even. I can not say he is perfect, but he’s not as bad as he tries to make himself look,”
I turned to face him. Vadirr never spoke of the prince, at least not to my hearing, and if I ever wanted to know something about prince Draven, Vadirr is the last person I’d ask. But I heard a little bit of pride in his voice now that he mentioned his beloved Draven.
“I have witnessed with my eyes what his beast can do. One thing I know about him is that he’d fight with his last strength for anyone he loves,”
