Lucien's POV
“I don't understand why we can't go together.” I started, watching as Red moved towards the second car. “I know you don't want people to know we're related, but that doesn't mean we can't go together.” I finished.
She rolled her eyes, “that’s exactly what it means darling. Besides, I'm picking Aurora, Shawn and the others.”
“But I am your brother.” I whined.
Placing a kiss on my forehead, she sighed. “I know, and I love you.” She said, entering the car as the driver drove off leaving me there.
Before I could decide how I wanted to go about it, my Dad came out of the house. He didn't have to say anything, his face holding several emotions.
“I wish she would talk to me like she used to.” He sighed. “Am I becoming old fashioned?” he asked me.
My brows raised, “Do you want an honest answer?” I replied, asking a question of my own and I saw his frown deepen. It wasn’t hard to know what he was thinking, but I loved pulling his legs.
