“I like you, Luke,” Alfred repeated with a smile.
Luke hated rejecting people.
But he hated it more when people kept confessing to him.
He doesn't want to make another enemy.

“He has a boyfriend.” He declared.
Alfred turned his head to Sam, and then back to Luke, “Really?”
Luke nodded, “Yes, I have a boyfriend.”
“Oh, that's cool,” Alfred said, “That's cool. My friends and I are heading to a friend's party tonight. Can you bring your boyfriend along?”

“His boyfriend is not a college kid!” Sam threw in sharply, noticing Luke's hesitation.

“That means he's older than you?” Alfred probed further.
