After I was done checking Conan's health status and giving him some additional pills for a faster recovery, I left for my apartment.
"See you then," Conan remarked, waving at me, and I faintly waved back at him.
Upon reaching the exit gate, the security man greeted me wholeheartedly.
"Goodbye, ma'am," he remarked, waving at me as I was about to exit the compound.
"Goodbye too, although I'll still visit tonight, so I'm still on," I responded, searching through my purse. "Use this for your lunch," I remarked, tipping him some bucks in his hand.
"God bless you so much, ma. I really appreciate this," he responded, jubilating as if he had just won a gamble.
Fortunately, a cab pulled up before me as I was just coming out of the palace, and I quickly waved at it for the driver to halt.
"No. 5 Nicholas Street," I told the cab driver and entered, then he turned on the car engine, and we drove off.
